Other than that, we have set an internal release goal, though we definitely won't be sharing that until we're sure we can make it-and we'll definitely be showing off content well before that point. Of course, we're also finalizing a lot of other text, like that of the skits while still working on the game script, which makes up the majority of the text we have left at this point. So part of our work includes making sure we can check terminology against other games, and even checking playthroughs for the things we're not sure of, contextually, to ensure everything is accurate. One of the things we're working on right now is the game's quiz book-which is huge! There's about ~6000 strings of text for that minigame, much of which contains trivia for previous Tales games, including escort titles that were never localized. Translation and editing is going at a steady clip some pretty big progress was made over the last month, but we've still got a long way to go in ensuring all the text is up to par. Unlike some of the later games (like Rebirth or Destiny Remake), Destiny 2's entire text rendering needed to be reworked-among some other things we're working on to make the experience smoother.

Not a lot to update on aside from the turn of the year bringing about a lot of work for the whole team! There's been a lot of work on the back end to fix some QoL issues and make sure the text implementation works well on native PSP hardware/resolution as well as looking good in emulators. We want this to be the highest quality possible, so we're taking our time to make sure that every string of text is polished! But the project isn't dead, even if we've been quiet. While we felt close last year, we definitely feel now that we wanted to have a little more polish on things before showing anything of.

We have some loose goals set for progress and once we meet those, we'll post a much more formal announcement. We're definitely still a ways off, since we still have a ton of text to work through. We've got things working on native hardware, and some minor QoL fixes on the table as well. But we've been steadily getting back on track the last couple of weeks, I've been polishing up a lot of the menu texts.
